By Car


Take the exit ‘Gent UZ’ on the cloverleaf junction E17-E40 and follow the plan below.

By train


Leave Gent Sint-Pieters station by the main exit. Go immediately to the right and follow the Prinses Clemantinalaan and Burggravenlaan. At the second traffic lights take the second left into Lucas De Heerestraat. At the first cross roads turn right into Vlierstraat.
Walking distance 1 KM – 12 minutes
Or take buses  9, 27, 28, 41, 43, 65, 67, 94, 96 (4th busstop)

 

By bus from the railwaystation

From Gent Sint-Pieters station: direction 'Gentbrugge Groeningewijk'

From Gent Sint-Pieters station: direction 'Dendermonde'.

For all those lines ask for busstop Zomerstraat - 4 stops  (walking distance Zomerstraat – Vlierstraat: 370 m – 4 min).

Ghent centre “Info Tourism” Belfry.

Leave Sint-Baafsplein and go straight ahead into: Mageleinstraat; Koestraat, Korte Dagsteeg, Walpoortstraat, Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat, Sint-Pietersplein, Overpoortstraat, Normaalschoolstraat, Zwijnaardsesteenweg, Vlierstraat ( third street left).
walking distance 2,45 km – 25 min

By air

 

From Brussels National Airport

There are direct trains from level -1 in the airport to Gent. (1 hour) or use a connection with Brussel Noord - Centraal or Midi.

From Brussels South - Charleroi

We recommend that our guests travel by public transport. In the airport you can buy a combination ticket at door '2' at a ticket machine (cash or credit card). Then take the bus (TEC - common transport) to the railway station Charleroi and continue by train to Brussels and Gent.

 

By Eurolines

 

All Eurolines buses have their stop for the moment at Gent Dampoort railway station

Take buses with number 70, 71, 72,...78 and 34,35,36 direction Gent Sint-Pieters with bus stop 'Heuvelpoort' (walking distance 570 m – 6 min).
